Listen the only reason Dole lost AZ in 1996 was because he shunned our state taking it for granted when Clinton himself visited it three times.

You know that is the most assine statement you make in trying to defend the history of your state regarding its love for Clinton. You were embarrassingly repremanded a while ago by people with ties to both Oklahoma and Texas, states Dole also 'shunned' yet still won. More likely Dole 'shunned' AZ because you have a flaming liberal senator and he know you guys were "Clinton" swing voters.

So what? Each state has different issues just because Texas and Oklahoma didn't have the issue doesn't mean that AZ didn't. Dole not coming to AZ to campaign was an issue in 1996. BTW, Perot got 112,000 votes in AZ in 1996. Perot was a spoiler in 1992 and he was a spoiler in 1996. Get a clue!
