It was found in the wreckage of the plane in the building.
I'm wondering how many Talibans are training at that flight school and if the kid was buddies with any of them.
The intercept planes did not reach there in time because from take-off to the hit building is a very SHORT distance. No time for them to get air-born and to the scene.
This responsibility is going to have to be taken by the flight schools. They are going to have to be more alert. Hard to say how they can identify a pilot that is going to do something like this, though.
When making such statements, it helps the reader, if you state specific examples. Could you do so, citing which losses came after WWI, and which after WWII. Thanks, in advance.
Of Course they did already know he was a 15 year old American student pilot but it's still pretty scary.
Alright, just getting the info on this big event, and I've got a few issues Id like to add in... since I fly a C172 nearly everyday I think I've got a little bit of experience.First off, If im correct he flew 20 miles to this area? Now, I'm assuming giving the circumstances, that he flew direct from the airport.
Now let's assume he flew for an hour, which he obviously didnt... and lets remind everyone who doesnt know, when someone parks a C172, the tanks are to be filled to avoid Condensation, and the after effect Vapour LockNow any decent school/club does this. So lets assume he had standard tanks, and had 38Gal on board, 34 of which were useable, but not that, that matters, so he flew for one hour we'll say, and burned 8 Gallons of gas, leaving him 26 Gallons of AVGAS, which as mentioned before, isnt the best at putting out fires... there should of been a fireball, and resulting fire, an absolute near impossibility, in a nearly fully loaded Cessna when the wings come off....
Now as for the whole TOP GUN idea? Perhaps this guy was a really crappy pilot... because for any of us who have flown them, even in the worst turbulence, they're not that hard to handle... At least well enough to avoid large buildings, even though there are the obvious major downdrafts, and turbulence associated with large buildings.
I don't know if this pilot meant to say "near impossibility" seems like he's driving at the fact that there SHOULD have been a fire?
Yep. And both voted for our President's tax cut, unlike yours.

Walker had a father who was a gay lawyer, and a mother who was a Buddists New Ager. That means mega screwed up liberals raised that kid!
Now, if you could give us some background on the kid from Florida, seeing how you seem to know it all.....How were his parents conservatives? What have you learned about them?
Do you have a direct IV line or does McCain's office have to deliver the koolaid? If you really believe that then I know why AZ went for Clinton in 1996.
IMHO this is the significance of this solo kamikaze action: it may mark the start of unilateral acts of terrorism by OBL supporters and other assorted Islemmings.
If even a very tiny % of the Islemmings in the USA wake up on a given day and decide "today is a good day to kill a lot of infidels and collect my 72 virgins", then we are in for a rough time.
Nutty solo actors will not belong to any trackable group, and will be virtually impossible to detect or stop short of their target area.
Imagine instead of a small plane, a 15,000 gallon gasoline tanker truck hijacked and driven into the lobby of the B of A building at 60MPH at ten AM on any monday.
I told you to stop before you embarrased yourself. He wanted to keep sticking the 'rich'. McCain Votes No
"Mr. President, I rise to oppose the Conference Report on the Reconciliation bill. I do so after having expressed hope that the progress we made in the Senate bill to scale back the benefits going to the top rate taxpayers to make room for more tax relief to lower income Americans would prevail in the final tax bill."
This little idiot has done a good thing... he has exposed a real weakness in "homeland" security.
