Seriously, the news reports, when you dig into them or do a little google searches of the researchers (you need a little more biology background than the Washington Post) shows that their areas of research are very esoteric and not as scary as they first sound. And call me if there is a Ebola outbreak somewhere other than central Africa - otherwise it really isn't even tinfiol news.

I'l bet it turns out they all went to grade school together, and there's a fellow student who wanted to be a microbiologist, but washed out in college. so now he/she is killing all the classmates that went on to become microbiologists out of jealousy. that's how it usually plays out on tv.
