IMHO there is a ferocious propaganda war being waged to keep the US from going after Sadam Hussein and Iraq. Many European nations, China, Russia, Arab terror states,Colin Powell, James Baker and certain US business interests are desparately trying to manufacture reasons, provide excuses (or threats in some cases)for not doing anything about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction and his training of AlQaeda terrroists to use them against the US.

Even if these desperate people try to argue that Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 (But they did), the US still must act very soon against Iraq or risk deaths of millions of its citizens within the US as a result of weapons of mass destruction launched against Iraq sponsored, supplied and trained terrorists.

I seriously doubt we will go in to Iraq. As long as the Russians are brokering oil deals with Iraq and the Turks in the north we'll sit this campaign out.

These wouldn't be the same ones behind the sellout to China would they? Yes they would. Making money is far more important than national security. I believe you will find Bush Senior, Kissinger and Baker at the center of this effort.
