Thankyou Jim for running one terrific site! Thank God the PC Libs and those Anti-American disruptors are removed! God bless America and President Bush.

I totally agree. Its just bizzare. Come here and argue your point but to go this far is just weird.

Of course, Jim Robinson has it wrong. We're not at war. Only Congress can state otherwise and there has been no formal declaration of war by anyone. This is untrue. Congress has the power to declare war, but that does not mean that we can be at war ONLY if Congress declares war.
At the time the Constitution was written, international law held that a state of war could exist if: 1) one's country was attacked; 2) one's country attacked another.
Only a country waging an aggressive war was expected to issue a declaration of war. This remained true until recent decades.
Waging aggressive war is NOW illegal (which it was not in 1789).
Thus, Congress has not declared war in recent decades, and it WILL NOT declare war--but we are at war nevertheless, because we have been attacked.

Jimrob is a rather lackadaisical sensor, since Demi and Wiley and Justin and some others (you know who you are) post to their heart's content.

That's right, we're expected to follow rules, which baffles the liberals. For liberals, established rules are what other people are supposed to follow.

Translation:
"We can't force FR to become politically correct. How dare these people try to unite behind the president of ALL the people. Free Republic has become too powerful and people in high places read it therefore it must be discredited or we lose any pathetic chance we might have to regain power, etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah, blah, drivel, whine drool......"

Michael Rivero Anti-American Propaganda Exposed
From ABC News web site: Picture from bin Laden tape.
Michael Rivero claims the bin Laden tape is a "government lie" - he posted this as the picture from the bin laden tape.
As you can see in the first picture is from the bin Laden tape and shows him. The second picture was a manipulation by Michael Rivero in order to further his propaganda.

He is a good CENSOR (just joking around)... at least FR doesn't delete views that don't match JR's entirely like those Democrat websites that are constantly hunting for "spies." Even if he did, God bless a man who fights to support Bush in this war effort.

Hey back, CJ!
Yeah, maybe it's the same one. Who knows? I can't keep up with them anymore. It appears to me that the bigger you get the more enemies you have snipping at your heels.
If Matt, er... ahh.... Michael is unhappy, he can create his own forum and see what it's like to be a ring leader with dancing monkeys running amok! We'll see how long his site lasts, LOL!
To: Vigilant1
Jim Robinson will tolerate no doubts about the righteousness of Bush's war for oil. Sounds like a tired old argument to me. Couldn't you come up with anything more original?
Free Republic isn't about news any more, only about propaganda.
How would you know? You haven't been around these parts long enough to understand anything about this website.
You are free to mosey on down the road.

I saw this an hour or two ago. Wrote it off as old drivel and closed the window. Didn't feel the need to bring it up here as the purpose of FR is to further conservative ideology whereas DU is a shill designed to express anger at conservative ideology. With all the info on JR floating around he may get enough noteriety to get his own media enterprise oneday.

Disagree.

I haven't had any of my anti-government remarks pulled. And believe me, there are plenty of gripes against the government around here. Same here.
While I support the military action against the taliban government (ex) and Usama / Al-quaida, I have been fairly critical of the GW Bush administration on the issue of citizen's rights, and the constitution.
I have yet to see a single posting of mine deleted.
That includes postings criticizing John Ashcroft, US Attorney General, and his alleged pro-gun rights stance.
I believe any deleted postings had more to do with unacceptable language, (racial slurs or innuendos) and just plain trashy, foul language than their political content.
Free Republic and thus, Mr. Robinson have to consider the possibility of Libel suits, defamation, slander, etc..
When Freepers fail to act responsibly, Jim Robinson must act to protect his site, not only for himself, but for the continued use of all of us.
