I believe that there is a human moral code which is pretty universal (and a surprising amount of it is instinctual, which to me amounts to it being a natural tendency toward certain ethical behavior in most people), but I don't consider it as necessarily applying to all minute aspects of everyday activity.

I also believe that a widely accepted moral code is necessary for a healthy and stable society. Just my opinion.
