This is excellent. And Clinton said himself that he wanted Buddy because he couldn't make friends in DC. So he put the dog ahead of the American citizens. Thank God he nor Al Gore are no longer in public office, or we too would wind up like his dog. Uncared for and run over.

i feel terrible for the young girl who was the driver of the car. she's 17 years old and has to deal with the fact she "killed" the ex-president's dog. i have cats and when we're away i leave a detailed list of do's and don'ts for the house sitter. dogs are a much bigger responsibility, which is why i've never owned one(although i'd love to).while the clintons were in las brisas, acapulco they should have sent buddy to a reputable dog boarder.... there are some terrific ones in westchester and manhattan.

" (Actually, they did have a cocker spaniel when they were governor of Arkansas, but Hillary reportedly didn't like it in the house.)"

During the past week - I read a post here on FR saying that the dog the Clintons had when he was governor of Arkansas was also killed by being run over by a car.
