Well so, then you didn't really mean THIS, then. That his whole administration has been a dismal failure for you.
"All during the clinton thing I kept wishing we had a fine man like Bush's dad in Office instead of creep like clinton But now that we do -- I find returning to the past doesn't work for me Once Henry Hyde, the Impeachment Managers, the couragous trustworthy Pubbies who followed them, and the 5 courageous Dems who voted to Impeach pioneered putting principle before politics I wanted to live at that level for me personally my experience of this Bush administration is dismal Love, Palo 457 posted on 1/6/02 5:38 PM Pacific by palo verde
I'm afraid I just don't understand you Palo, or understand what you are really saying here.

personally my experience of this Bush administration is dismal
means I have lost inspiration since he's been in Office
instead of gained it
Henry Hyde's Impeachment ignited my inspiration -- those Pubbies who did it stand 10 feet tall in my eyes --
they demonstrated courage and trustworthiness, when they believed it meant political suicide for themselves
George's decision not to put the restoration of Rule of Law first in his administration -- caused me to lose inspiration
This is not about punishing clinton -- this is about demonstrating that no man is above the Law, and equality before the Law
instead this administration is demonstrating there is one law for the rich and powerful, and another for the rest of us
It has not occurred to me to judge his administration
it isn't over yet
so far I'd say a fine decent man came in, chose good people, and has tried to govern to the best of his ability
and he has talent for governing
I'm sorry if I seem to be contradicting myself -- it's a contradictuon I have to live with
see if this works
if clinton had never happened, I would be perfectly content with George
but he won't deal with what happened so I am lost
to me still -- the single sensible thing to have done is bring it all to Law
Love, Palo
