Hi Bill
you don't know how people are feeling
both my husband and me (totally individually)
went from being liberals to conservative/libertarians over the past 4 years
also this is the first election where the youth voted conservative rather than liberal
also in Minnesota Jesse Ventura who espoused many libertarian views was voted in as Governor
a desire for liberty is sweeping our land

That is a process, or transformation, that takes time to seep in.It worked in 1994, but getting the liberty returned to the level many would like could be a generational effort, and an aging population is going to demand even more government to handle their needs.So it may take decades, one week at a time...

This is where my perspective parts company with most people. To me, voting Republican (which I did) is not voting conservative. It is voting liberal, albeit less liberal, than the Democrats. My operational definition of a conservative has little in common with the Republican Party.
