I'm fed up with Bush trying to keep the public favor... If he wants my approval, he should start being a tough conservative, and getting all the things we conservatives want... and I quote... I want the EPA gone. I want the US out of the UN, and vice versa. I want the Constitution strictly upheld and the "shall not be infringed" part of the 2nd amendment ahered to. I want Clinton et al invetigated properly and charged for treason and murder. I want the US to start bombing IRAQ, and any other country involved. That's just a start.... 74 posted on 1/4/02 12:15 PM Pacific by goodieD

Ashcroft likes being favored among his religious contemporaries, don't ya think? In fact, Ashcroft pointedly insisted that prayers not mention Jesus, in order to be inclusive of all the religions in the office. Who is he more concerned about pleasing? Jesus, or the jews in his office?

I see it this way... they're all in it together. And I can promise you this... when Hitlery runs in 2004, or 2008... she will run, soon... she will be elected. She has so much support in young people, and women, and the like... and Bush is using the war now to get his legacy, and he won't touch the Clintons, or Reno, because their turn is coming up soon. And for the 4 or 8 years he is in office... we won't get significant tax cuts, we will still be in the UN, we will still be fighting environmental extremists, we won't get any gun rights back (might still lose a few), etc. etc.
If all he cares about is if he can win another term, why should I care who is President?
Isn't that what we said about Clinton?

I live in Florida... I don't even want to see Reno run.

Damn Brits still chuckling...
We believe you - but prove it.

Headline from the British paper--

"What the (British) Government's dossier
against bin Laden doesn't say and can't say:
One thing is missing from the document
'proving' Bin Laden's guilt – the proof
"

The British people aren't alone on this one.

All the American citizens have to "prove"
ben Laden's guilt is the word of a government
that has already been proven to be a liar.

No Bush wasn't the man for the job, and Gore wasn't either. Maybe Keyes.

So, you're saying that only you and editor are NOT Bush supporters? I mean, if nobody else posted it, then we ALL must be Bush bots, right?

HUH?

Are you guys going to just stay constipated for the next three years?

I guess so.

By then maybe we can vote for someone that will abide by the Constitution.

Then we can flush.

Hi, sinkspur, I hope you and your's are having a Happy New year.

hi exodus
thank you for your loving post
I had total faith in Bush
and moved heaven and earth to get him elected
I was not mistaken in his character
he is fine fair decent kind gentle person
serene in crisis
and sensible
my first allegiance is to the Rule of Law tho
Henry Hyde put principle above politics
our country is better for it
was I idealistic in beliving George would continue from that high pinnacle?

Actually, the term "sink spur" came from a line uttered by Chill Wills in the John Wayne movie "McClintock."

You can vote for whomever you want.

If he's from some mongrel third party, you'll be right back here, bitchin' and moanin'.

Happy New Year to you, too.

I will say this
nothing ever inspired me as much as Henry Hyde's Impeachment
my experience of George's administration has been dismal and alienating
if he had taken the clinton corruption to Law
I would have backed him 100% and given my all
I respect his free will to do as he chooses
