While I agree, this speech is not about money or economics. It's about politics. The Dems are scared witless (if they have any) about the 2002 elections during a war and a Pres with 70+ approval ratings. I believe the Dems should be a bit concerned about their chances here in 2002. WOT and Bush's ratings aside, the horse they're beating (the economy) is already set for a strong recovery by the end of Q2 2002 (based on what I've been able to research, and based on the experts I talk to).
