FYI, I received an e-mail on Thurs., Oct. 19, from the "Keyes 2000" committee, which reads as follows:
"Ambassador Keyes has pledged his support for George W. Bush, and we're all wishing him the best."

May 18, 2000 | WASHINGTON -- Why is Alan Keyes still running for president?
Even his own campaign asked that question in a recent mailing to North Carolina voters.
"There is a battle for the soul of the Republican Party, and the battle lines are starting to form," the mailer said. And those on the right side should cast their votes for Keyes, the conservative, anti-abortion rights activist and two-time presidential candidate.

But the fact that Keyes will not win the Republican presidential nomination or be elected president has not stopped him.
Since his surprisingly strong showing in the Iowa caucuses, where he gained 14 percent of the vote, Keyes has fallen off the political radar screen.
He won three delegates Tuesday in Oregon's primary, and five recently in North Carolina, bringing his total to 10 -- 1,024 short of the number needed to win the nomination. (George W. Bush, the presumed GOP nominee, had 1,412 delegates as of Tuesday.) {end snip}

I already explained this to you once...the October piece is an announcement to those who hadn't already heard, that Keyes had endorsed Bush...way back in July. Got it?
The second was way before Philly. Way before.
This is readily apparent to anybody who bothers to think about it.
