Rev 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

From the last Chapter of God's Word. Nothing is to be added to the prophecy (until He returns). Beware of those who come with signs and wonders:

Matt 24:24

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Be well and be careful out there.

That's for the book of Revelation only, that doesn't mean that God doesn't allow prophesies to be made by his soldiers in today's world. We must remember that one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophesy. (1Cor12:10)

of course you realize.. that much of the new testament was written AFTER the book of Revelation right? look it up in any commentary or concordance... Looks like they put revelation at the end when they assembled the canon of the new testament, to scare folks off.

I for one like to hear the false prophets rave on. One prophetic failure... and from that point on... we know who they did NOT hear from... that being God. God makes fools out of them, and their followers who refuse to admit... the alleged "prophet" wasn't one after all.

Of course we have a whole new crowd who then say that new testament prophets in the church don't have the same accuracy requirments as the ones in the old testament... then we have the same group selectively ram their "favorite" commandments down our throats at threat of eternal damation... cheifly being mandatory attendance at their meetings, and sacrifial money in their offering plates... all this happens while prophet "liar-am-I" d'jour gets up and tells a few more "whoppers" in the name of the Lord. Blasphemy. No wonder folks don't believe in God... His kids are addicted to lying and liars...

Anybody with brains knows miss cleo is more accurate than these phoney baloney religious houdini wannabes and their worshippers.

Where were the lying prophets and God's alleged spokesmen on the morning of 9-11? Were they standing at the building entrance denying access because "god told them what was to come today?" Nope... but they sure as hell showed up to blame us for our immorality and pass the plate while begging for forgiveness in a time of national tragedy.

hoaksters... and flim flam cons... they are NOT prophets, when their words fall to the ground unfulfilled... even once. Phonies...

quack quack....

I wish God did take out some of the trouble makers in the middle east... but I suspect He will leave the heavy lifting to mankind. Seems like He leaves us the responsibility of removing our own Hitlers from the planet... "take out your own garbage" seems to be his policy.

"From the last Chapter of God's Word. Nothing is to be added to the prophecy (until He returns). Beware of those who come with signs and wonders: "

Signs and wonders are adding to Gods Word? If signs and wonders were taken out of Gods word we could print the bible on a postcard.

" Acts 4:29-30 29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus." (NIV)

Acts 14:3 3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders (NIV)

Acts 15:12 12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the miraculous signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. (NIV) "

God used signs and wonders as proof to those who the Holy Spirit gave scripture. We don't need them now we have the KJV? And you guys think Hinns off the wall?
