Hidden Agenda In the Kansas City School District-Are You Next!?? (My Title)

Some interesting but disturbing news items of local interest but possibly national effect. Below are the stories reported lately in Kansas City about suspect activities at the school board. If you visit the links of the National Black United Front you will see there are chapters thru out the U.S. Is this a possible nation-wide effort to indoctrinate our school systems ??

KANSAS CITY, MO -- KCTV5's Teri Schaefer has learned that a lawyer will question members of the Kansas City, Missouri school board Thursday in a court-ordered investigation into patronage. One thing the investigation will probe is he hiring of Linwood Tauheed. Kansas City school superintendent Bernard Taylor hired Tauheed late last summer as a special assistant. His salary is almost $90,000. His mission is to help schools function more independently from the central office. His hiring is part of an investigation Federal Judge Dean Whipple ordered the children's lawyer, Arthur Benson, to conduct. Benson said, "The district was dragging its heels, but I finally received all the documents I request Benson also said he'd start the depositions, or interviews, with school board members on Thursday. Benson is supposed to probe not only Tauheed, but also Board President Helen Ragsdale's creation of a subdistrict redrawing committee without board approval and Tauheed's role in the redrawing of those subdistrict boundaries. Tauheed is a member of the Black United Front, an organization that counts two school board members on its membership lists. Those school board members are Lee Barnes and Michael Byrd. Benson will also look into whether those memberships count as patronage in the hiring of Tauheed. Teri asked the superintendent three months ago about Tauheed's membership in the Black United Front, and he said what he cared about was whether his employees could do their jobs. "That's almost like asking ... I'm a Baptist, for example ... that's almost like asking me as a Baptist, does that influence my work? What influences my work is, and what should influence anyone who is a district employee, how do they impact positive results for all of our students," Taylor said. Benson told Teri he hoped his investigation would be finished by the end of the month.

Well, with the public school system pushing the liberal political agenda for years now, it's hard for me to get too worked up over this one. There are a lot of blacks in the KC Mo school district so they should have strong representation. I may not know enough details, but, the truth is jobs are offered for the wrong reasons all the time. I doubt that ever changes, they just might hide it more cleverly at times.

The local paper has literally been cowed by the poverty pimps in the KCSD, which is the worst 'skool' district in the nation, according to the Cato Institute and the LA Times. Any time the corruption charge is levelled (and rightly so), they are called a rascist, etc.. The district has always been about racial spoils and patronage, I mean between all the corruption, who has time to teach any children? The KCSD still ranks one of the lowest in the nation and does not even have acreditation.

The sordid history of the Kansas City School District and its thoroughly corrupt school board, court-imposed tax hikes on suburban Missouri residents to support an urban school district are well known to most Kansas Citians. This is probably the nation's premier example of the failure of public education. The Black political elites in KC win at the expense of poor black children who will be left without hope.

That's interesting. I just moved to KC (Kansas side) from Wichita. I am unfamiliar with this but I'll start paying attention.

I attended some KC, MO public schools as a child. Really bad memories for the most part. Especially the all black school (I'm blonde/blue eyed). I was told "We're going to beat you up after school" every day, and that was in the 3rd grade. They treated all the white kids badly. We couldn't go out to recess for fear of violence. I must add, though, that my black 3rd grade teacher was very nice. I was a tad scared of her though because she would spank kids in the coat room with a fiberglass paddle.

The name of the school was Fransis Willard I believe.

After that I always wondered if the one black kid in my future classes felt the way I did. (technically there were 3 of us) Even before the threats I sat down my first day at the school and looked around at all the kids that looked so different from me and cried. A kid said "teacher, the new girl is crying" and the teacher came and asked if I was okay. Of course I couldn't say anything so I said "I'm okay." It's a weird feeling, and in the 60's it was a dangerous situation.

FYI, I never was beat up. I learned the value of keeping your mouth shut though.
