It IS the most serious problem, and I think it has begun in full force. Many of Buchanan's predictions may never come true because, I believe, we will face border skirmishes if not some sort of WAR with Mexico in the next 10 years. I just don't see it. Since globalists control this country, and Mexico to some extent, it just will not happen. Instead we should expect continuing and increasing calls for open borders and even unification.

We have already seen where such isolationism leads us (WWI, Pearl Harbor, etc), and it ain't pretty. Sad to say, the world does need a policeman. Our military is the only insulation that we have against tyranny.
The sentiment of Washington and the other founding fathers was that the military should be called upon only when the USA is directly threatened by an enemy. There was a profound reason for this position, namely the fact that history shows that war results in lots of corpses abroad and the loss of freedoms at home.
Perhaps you should keep that in mind.

I think we can presume that she (Condi Rice) sees no threat whatsoever from the millions of Mexicans and other nationalities who are invading our country, and that she is in complete accord with Colin Powell's statement You certainly are right! And what's more, these policies are coming from officials whether elected and un-elected and from the right as well as the left. The goal is, of course, to implement the new one world order.
It is my firm belief that the reason we're having to beat the snot out of the Muslims is because a communistic one world order would also require a secular one world religion(worship of statism) and that ain't gonna fly with Islam!

Most of the illegal immigrants (read Mexicans) don't want to learn English at all. Where do you get 'most...don't want to learn English?' Do you have a citation, or is this just your 'observation?'

"Better to take the fight to them than cower on our own soil and wait for them to attack us here."
Well that is certainly the debate. We aren't taking the fight to them. We are becoming them.

According to Team Bush, America is not defined by borders. America is an idea.
Anyone who adopts the idea becomes a citizen. Welcome to conservative leadership.
What exactly is the "idea"? I'll let others expound.

I too am a America Firster, albeit NOT IN THE BUCHANANITE SENSE OF "BLOOD AND SOIL." Buchanan für Präsidenten 2004 Blut und Boden! How exactly is Buchanan a nazi?

As someone rightly pointed out earlier in this thread, the Founders couldn't have contemplated a world in which you can cross the ocean in hours and completely annihilate another nation with a nuclear device. The fact of the matter is that threats come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. We have to be cognizant of both direct and indirect threats, as well. For example, one threat may not immediately affect us but may increase the likelihood that we will be placed in future danger. We can't close our eyes to that reality. Perhaps you should keep that in mind.

Can a poisoned heart nourish a body? I would submit that we are rotten from the top, down. Our leaders are corrupted before their names are selected by the 'elect' to become our choices of: from bad to worse.

80% of all births in California hospitals today are hispanic. California is already lost to Mexico, and others will follow. If I don't like it I can leave? Don't worry, I am.

I read the article and am responding to it.
You read the article and changed the subject, or shall I say stoled it. Typical of those who can't handle the truth.
Did you know Lanny is a lawyer and Pat is not? Did you know Steffy never wrote a book, was syndicated and never ran for any office? He like Kokie and Sam are paid mouthpieces for the neocon leaning media.
Come on, get your feet on the ground.

Nah. As Mark Twain (one of my favorite writers) would have pointed out, we are uniformly rotten. People are weak and subject to all kinds of depravity. No one is immune. Particularly the little guy.

I don't think he's a Nazi, but I would consider him at least a fascist with tendencies toward race-obsession.
