Picture those same obese 19 yearolds sitting on their fat ars's in 1942 eatting and drinking and being merry stateside.

Yep. - They were. And a year or so later they were fighting all over the world for freedom.

For the freedom to eat, drink, smoke & be merry, with whatever, whoever, and whenever they damn pleased, among other liberties.

I watched them do it, and partied with them when they got back. The merrymaking, and the freedom went on for 30 years or more before you bluenose types regained 'control'. -- And its been downhill for the republic ever since.

You have never known anything like the real personal freedoms we had in the 40s thru the 60's.
