I don't think my definition covers nothing, I gave it the freedom laredo to cover everything since it means something a little different to everybody. Even the court has no one definition of the word Liberty. It is an ideal more than an exact definition. Our freedoms do have restrictions because when left to ourselves some do wrong things. So our laws set the limits and say such things as illegal drug use is against the law.
I can understand seeking other forms of enforcement even though congress approved what we have, but on the issue of illegal drug use. Do you think growing addicts in the USA and using illegal drugs would be good or evil?
Check this out laredo:

Great example of the good the Feds do at times. Would you approve of the drug smugglers tactics and using babys as they did here? Were they good or evil?

>>Marx said that? Gotta quote, or blowing smoke?<<
I never said Marx, said it, although he may have. I said "Marxists" said that.
You have not addressed the question.

I saved this in word-for-windows for every future illegal drug usage thread in the future. Always nice to point out the source of the law.

The burden is on you. Do you always stop reading when a post reaches teens of words. He continued.

Yep, you run every time.

Congress is allowed to write law. If it was unconstitutional then it would hve been successfully overturned in the Top court of our land. It wasn't because it IS legal.

In effect, you are running right now. You have no valid comebacks, so you are begging questions.
Silly little roscoe.

Would you approve of the drug smugglers tactics and using babys as they did here? Were they good or evil? I'll deal with this first since I failed earlier. I think drug smugglers are generally scummy people. Many would not have a moments reservation in killing me or you. I do not believe many of the worst drug smugglers would be good citizens under any circumstances. Using babies to smuggle drugs is evil.

I think we all agree that more drug abuse and more drug addiction would be worse for us all. The question is how do you reduce drug abuse and addiction. Is there any evidence that prohibition reduces either? Sorry, but no.
It makes about as much sense to make drugs illegal as it would to make adultery illegal, or premarital sex. We all know that making these things illegal would only make the world a much more horrible place for us all to live.
The key to understanding the meaning of Liberty is to understand the meaning of "consensual behavior".

I would like to see that congress honor the clear words of the constitution.

The burden is on CONGRESS to determine the Constitutionality both letter and spirit of each bill it considers. They fail abysmally and we have this abomination to suffer under now and useful idiots that cheer them on. The Constitution is a LIMIT ON THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT and it must be the government that PROVES THE CONSTITUTIONALITY of any propsed expansion of its powers, PERIOD. 90% of the time it is woefully WRONG and WAY out of line. The WOsD is surely one of the most egregious violations of the Constitution, right there with the EPA, DOE, victim disarmanent and all the rest. It is for YOU to prove otherwise, since you are the ardent advocate of this usurpation of power.

Roscoe, now some claim it is unconstitutional, yet I see no challenge to successfully overturn the law in court. If the Libertarian party really believe what they say they need to show some guts and have their party go to court with a lawyers to prove their point.
If it were possible the ACLU would have tried to overturn this. After all they are for anything that would bring down this country.

Proletariat? Who might that be? Those on the lash end of the dictating, the people. You might want to pick up one of those "Comparative Governments for Dummies" books, then rejoin the discussion.

The Marijuana TAX Act of 1937 was the law of the land until 1968, when it was challenged and overturned by the Supreme Court. The CSA was written specifically to address the issues raised by that challenge. The CSA is full of absolute lies. How long will it take before an intelligent lawyer is tasked with pointing out these lies and therby overturning this law too?
