All the friggin' hippies from New York moved up there back in the sixties and seventies. Now these marxist yuppies are electing ultra-liberal scum like Jeffords. He's a disgrace. They ought to make a law forbidding changing parties in midterm. My GOP support money helped elect that pr*ck so we could have a stronger platform and senate majority, not him, but the GOP. Vermont has been invaded for the last 20 years by a bunch of fat, balding Hippies. The 'natives' up there have no say anymore. It's a small state (only one congress critter) so it didn't take a lot of influx of former SDS members to swing the balance of power. It's kind of like Berkeley or Madison population wise but with two US Senators.
