[history]
Shortly after the Sept. 11 terror attacks, the FBI launched a search for several men who had mysteriously vacated Fort Lee, N.J., office space and may have taken possession of an industrial food-processing machine that could be used to mix chemicals, law enforcement sources say.
The men - one who rented the space and a few others who visited, according to the landlord - and the machine have not been located. Investigators say the machine was shipped to a New Jersey address but are uncertain of the identity of the receiver.

The official word, of course, is that the anthrax probably came from a "domestic" source, meaning the Anthrax came from a U.S. lab, but they don't appear to be focusing solely on "right-wing extremist groups" for the distributor(s).

Oh, and let's not forget the crazed egghead hypothesis those clucks trotted out when the crazed right-winger hypothesis went belly up. Can't wait to see who/what the next suspect is.

LOL! They'd better make a ton of it if they want to recoup the $100,000 that it cost them for the equipment!

I always find interesting articles. They typically hit the Dow Jones News Service while I'm at work. I can lurk there but I can't post. Usually by the time I get home some other news service has picked them up a few hours later and they've been posted here.
I couldn't post it yesterday because...no FR!

If it looked like this one, the perps have probably already opened a pizza joint.

Why would a company called "cards.com" need a food mixer? This is very suspicious.
Also, wonder what kind of building it was -- sounds like office space--why would a food mixer be used, normally, in such a space?
Must be the crazed right-wing wackos associated with a terrorist group that advocated the use of biological warfare against the USA, and showed peculiar interest in cropdusters. </ sarcasm>

I'm just glad that paople are waking up to the race-baiting of the Ashcroft DOJ! These hard working guys are only on the move to avoid the OSHA, EPA, et al! Those reg's are tough! Sure hope the nutty cousin of McVeigh, who is really the anthrax man, is caught soon! Gosh, wonder if he reads Soldier of Fortune? Or maybe he is more of a techno freak & reads Shotgun News!
