I think what it really comes down to is whether or not these nations want to be considered rougue nations. This is particularlly true of India. India is in a prime position to become an international economic power, and in a great position to help stabilize the entire area ...yet they can't keep from acting like a third world hellhole nation. Uh, a pardon me... India was ATTACKED. Do you think the USA would stand back and do nothing if Muslim terrorists attacked our Congress?

I didn't say they should do nothing...but striking back like a cornered dog is not the answer.

I totally agree with ambrose... if some guys came in and shot a bunch of people in Congress, and the KNOWN government of the KNOWN country where these people reside did not completely overhaul their organization, I think that the United States would definitely take some action towards that country (hmm... where have we seen this before?).
Another thing: where should the US be standing on this? Just because Pakistan is currently "supporting" the US in this anti-terrorist campaign doesn't mean that they don't harbor terrorists themselves.... keep in mind also that China and Pakistan seem to be buddying up here. Maybe we should just stand back? Either that or take the correct side.
