Actually, tex-oma, you're quite right about some anti-Semitism being invented. Back in the 50s or early 60s, there was a nutball group called the 'National Renaissance Party' which, it turned out, was funded and promoted (secretly, of course) by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith.
