>Where will the ACLU and other libertarians come down on this issue?
Libertarian: if it's your book and you want to burn it, it's your business. There is no law against stupidity.
If we conclude that you're a fringe rightwing cracker with the tinfoil on a little too tight, don't be surprised.
There are lots of books out there a *lot* worse than Harry Potter -- Naked Lunch for example.
Burning something you don't agree with -- be it Harry Potter or the US Flag -- does far more to damage any cause you believe in than it does to further it.

In case, you missed it, I stated I could care less about Harry Potter. I grew watching Bewitched reruns. I am simply pointing out the never ending hypocrisy of the liberaltarian position. If it was a left-wing loser burning a flag or the Bible, most liberaltarians would be defending those doing the burn. But a pastor excercising his freedom to buy and burn a Harry Potter book is attacked by liberaltarians as a threat to free speech, despite the fact the liberaltarian position backs such activities by individuals.

Why doesn't the same logic apply to dim wit Harry Browne when he opposes a war against terrorism? Or to liberaltarians that seek drug legalization when more than two-thirds of the nation opposes that moronic idea?
