In Carol Everett's book, Blood Money, she claims getting into the schools for sex education was one of their most important marketing ploys when she ran abortion clinics in Dallas. Now pro-life, Everett states once they made their presentation to the students, all they had to do was sit back and wait for the phone to ring. She knew to increase her abortion business, she must first get teenagers to become sexually active. The best way to do this was to get them a prescription for birth control pills, which they always forgot to take. Chilling.

This was always my contention with people I've had disagreements with concerning sex ed and dispensing birth control pills to teenagers. Let's face it, teenage girls are dingbats for the most part. I was and most of my friends were. Irresponsibility is the norm. I knew that Planned Parenthood knew it, too, and they were merely setting girls up as future abortion clients. Disgusting! Cold comfort in this vindication.
