I don't see the conflict you do ... the soul is in perpetual existence ... what you may be confused with is the difference between physical death and spiritual or eternal death which is separation from God in Hell ... no, no soul ever dies *eternally* ... it's where the soul *spends* eternity ...

however, the physical body, often called a "tent" or "vessel" (jar of clay) does die, for most of mankind, and the soul is separated from the body ...

though Jesus and God are identical, they are separate Beings ... indeed Jesus is at the right hand of God the Father and God the Holy Spirit is performing His work on the Earth for the past 2,000 years (and before that actually) ... Genesis 1, John 4, 7, 14, 16, and Matthew 28:19 ... FReegards ...

I believe No# 1 if it is refering to the KING JAMES 1611 AV. I don't believe all the other new age versions in English. They disagree with the King James and they disagree with each other.

You state that..."... the soul is in perpetual existence "

KJV Ezekiel 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Do you have a scripture that contradicts this one?

You also state ......"though Jesus and God are identical....."

How can this be when Jesus was created?
See KJV Colossians 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:(some translations say "of all creation")

This seems to be pretty specific to me.

Cheers.
