You have stated that you believe the bible to be literal and 100% true. If you will confirm that you believe the following passages to be translated accurately then I have a couple of questions.
1) KJV Genesis 2:7 7.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 2) KJV Ezekiel 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
3) KJV Colossians 1:15
(speaking of Christ)... Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
4) KJV 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
27. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
I will check back for your response.
Cheers:^)

I will have to defer commenting on these passages, when I have time to read my Bible and be able to engage in conversation with you--as I must also read the chapter from which the verses come. Until then, Merry Christmas to you and to all.

no doubt you have a question that no one has been able to answer for you ... either way, ask on ... I'll give you one response ... if that does not satisfy, I shall not be able to assist you ...

I haven't had time to read through all the replies to whatever your questions may be; however, I can comment generally on the few I have read. You seem to have at least one question about translation: despite the fact that the original scriptural texts were not written in English, and the Bible is a compilation of the various texts written in at least several languages, reading the scriptures as a God-given, God-inspired Book, takes faith. If it is read as a college text or another mythology, one lacks the faith required to gain from it all that God would intend. Nevertheless, God's Word shall not come away empty and He will still leave an impression on the most skeptical reader. That is the power of God's spoken, and written, Word.
