Ever since Eric Cartman sang " Heat of the Moment" with the congress on South Park, it's been going through my head. The Cartman version, not the Asia version.

When Otis died in the plane crash, he had just recorded the voice over for "Dock of the Bay" - literally.

I heard an interview with Steve, he had to rush to mix the song and he put the sea-sounds in before they even found Otis' body...over a weekend as I recall.

Otis never heard it that way, and never got the chance to finish the song himself.
I've often wondered how he would have done it.
