Was holding off the demons of repetitive songs until I saw the Hil and Bill pic. Then, from that apparent psychic Bob Dylan who wrote this long before the world heard of the Clintons..."you're an idiot babe, it's a wonder you can even feed yourself."

"A-WEEMA-WACK, A-WEEMA-WACK..."

I don't care what you do in your spare time...

...anyway, I discovered years ago that the bassman is singing "Way up high" in the background. I have no idea why.

"Gosha gow?" What happened to the "Hooga-shucka, Hooga-shucka, Hooga, Hooga, Hooga-shucka" of the Blue Suede version with the salsa beat? Kicked butt all over B.J. Thomas!

Ever since Eric Cartman sang " Heat of the Moment" with the congress on South Park, it's been going through my head. The Cartman version, not the Asia version.

When Otis died in the plane crash, he had just recorded the voice over for "Dock of the Bay" - literally.

I heard an interview with Steve, he had to rush to mix the song and he put the sea-sounds in before they even found Otis' body...over a weekend as I recall.

Otis never heard it that way, and never got the chance to finish the song himself.
I've often wondered how he would have done it.

"It's My Party ...", sung by Leslie GORE way, way back in the 50's? You go back as far as I do!

I get Christmas tunes running thru my mind all year long, but I just make up different words and sing to my dog! She doesn't mind, in fact even seems to like the attention!

Huh, I didn't know that either, thanks.

The list of stuff I don't know would bankrupt JimRob bandwidthwise.

When you've got worries,
all the noise and the hurry
seems to help, I know -
Downtown

Just listen to the music
of the traffic in the city,
Linger on the sidewalks
where the neon signs are pretty

How can you lose?
