Have you heard of the passages in Scripture saying it is wrong to have sex before marriage? It is wrong. It is not a mortal sin. There is no such thing except for denying Christ and blaspheming the Holy Spirit in the process. But, it still is wrong and God would not approve.

WOW Lot's of judging and damnation going on in this thread. I saw someone say that his last wish should not have been to have a sexual experience, that he could have asked for anything else - Is a trip to DisneyWorld as many children ask out of line and a sin too, I mean it is self-indulging?

The people that quote the ten commandments (yes, I live by them), I am curious if you also live by all the rules in Leviticious? If not, why? I often see that Jesus died for our sins and that Christians live by the New Testament, but wait, the Ten Commandments are in the Old Testament - so does that mean they are now as invalid as the Leviticious laws? What makes it okay to ignore one law or chapter of the bible and not another?

It doesn't go away if that is your attitude. You do it to have fleshly sins before you die and then decide to somehow fake repent before you die...uh no....that won't work. It has to be real.

Do you know who you sound like?

Der Schlichmeister!
Depends on what the meaning of casual sex is? Only 'responsible people'? No children? What age is a child not a child. Should a parent decide that his child is old enough? Will you inform your child when he is not a child anymore and can go out and have casual sex with his high school friends..or will this child make his own decision?
No rules...no order.

Here's a secret...If I ever contract a terminal illness, (no I've had enough sex for 3 lifetimes)I'm going to get addicted to all the really cool ilegal drugs I've avoided all my life. I will stay stoned 24-7, heroin, coke, the BIG "E", and maybe some I don't even know about...I plan to indulge myself in EVERYONE of them...recklessly, maybe even mix & match.
Judge that !

Not me. I want to be as totally sober and enjoy every real thing I could....clearly.

well, this isn't a magnum opus, but Ive got to get off here and get some work done. Ill bookmark this and check in later. BTW, whoever you are that got offended by my "tali" remark that prompted a deletion and a message from the moderator:

Whats wrong? Cant wait for the raging hellfire to agonize me eternally as well, so you have to go crying now? Grow up and get a backbone. In the old days, it would have remained... but I guess we are PC-ized, aren't we whiner?

If everyone has broken a commandment.....why bother teaching them in the first place? What you are encouraging is that its OK if you do..that everyone does it. This takes me back to the Clinton era. Whatever happened to setting examples...like we wanted GWBush to do. I think what you are doing is very dangerous.

Rather presumptuous of you to know what HE is thinking isn't it?

That would depend on what you mean by "Casual Sex".

Do I think that a responsible man and woman can have sex without marriage? Yes.

Do I think that people who are married should sleep around outside their marriage? No.

Do I think that children should be having sex? No.

I think sex is a subject that should be handled RESPONSIBLY, not by a Religion's code of conduct, but by what two responsible adults can manage without negatively impacting their lives or others in society.

Who was talking about homosexuality? I was referring to your excuses from your post #141 (italics above)..where you are giving out excuses without boundaries. You sound like Clintons "What the meaning of 'is' is. You don't see that?
