Don't worry. I'm sure we will see plenty of coverage tonight on ABC/NBC/CBS tonight and the Sunday talking head shows decrying this Democratic partisan bickering and stonewalling!

Daschle is a despicable little runt.

The chant should begin immediately - THE DEMOCRATS ARE EXTENDING THE RECESSION FOR THEIR OWN CORRUPT PURPOSES.

Since MY democrat senator (Bayh) is not up for re-election, I told them that the people of South Dakota were going to get a lot of help from me, and he could pas that message on to Daschle. I also told them that I thought it was TERRIBLE that unemployment benefits weren't going to be extended tight before Christmas. (This is following the Rat line of caring for the poor, blah blah.) I told her I WASN'T KIDDING, and to make sure he got the message.

She tried to make me feel guilty by wishing me a Merry Christmas, and I said, fine, but what about those people who are out of work over CHRISTMAS????

Boy, do I dislike Daschle. I also told her that I knew he was taking orders from Hillary, and we all knew it here in Indiana. Boy did I blow a gasket!!

I agree that Daschle's taking orders from Hillary.

After all, Health Care is what's she's been holding a grudge on since '92.

She's still determined to get her way.

P.S Mr. Miller.... Puff doesn't give a damn on you

Miller, Centrist Coalition Senators Unveil Bipartisan Economic Stimulus Plan

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Zell Miller (D-GA) today joined with five members of the Centrist Coalition in unveiling a bipartisan plan to boost the nation's economy as quickly as possible.

Miller joined with two other Democrats and three Republicans from the Centrist Coalition in calling on the Senate leadership to consider their compromise economic stimulus plan. While the House has passed an economic stimulus plan, the Senate has yet to do so.

"Our bipartisan plan represents the middle ground of all the proposals out there, and I think that's where most Americans want us to be in this anxious time," Miller said. "It offers a good mixture of health care and unemployment benefits to help workers who have been laid off, and it also includes tax cuts that will boost investments and consumer confidence."

The Centrist Coalition group, which included Miller and Sens. John Breaux (D-LA), Ben Nelson (D-NE), Olympia Snowe (R-ME), George Voinovich (R-OH) and Susan Collins (R-ME), signed a letter to Majority Leader Tom Daschle and Minority Leader Trent Lott urging them to consider their plan as a compromise that could win approval in the Senate and House.

The estimated cost of the bipartisan compromise plan offered by Miller and his fellow Centrist Coalition members is $76 billion over 10 years.

The plan offers 13 extra weeks of unemployment benefits and a federal match of up to 50 percent for health insurance available to those who have been laid off.

It also offers tax rebate checks for those who didn't receive stimulus checks earlier this summer, and it speeds up some of the tax rate cuts of the Bush tax cut passed earlier this year. For businesses, it enhances some depreciation write-offs.

My thoughts exactly. In fact Greenspan has been slashing rates like a mad man. I am in the process of refinancing my home, along with hordes of others. Because of the appreciation in housing prices over the past few years, I will probably be able to borrow twice the amount of what I paid for the house 6 years ago at a paltry (and subsidized) 6.5% interest rate. If others are doing the same thing, we will soon be swimming in liquidity.

That's okay... I called Leahy's office and got the "are you from Vermont..." line. I said no, but if the Senator was going to take a national position and speak for the "nation", then I had every right to make my feelings known.

American politics is corrupt from the inside. That corruption is slowly killing us. Can we get Daschle out of office? If we did, how many Daschle's will rise up and take his place.

I'm not throwing in the towel. But how do we wake this nation up to the danger that people like Daschle is having on all of us.

And that hiding behind "I only listen to (fill in state) constituents" gets on my nerve. Then speak for them only and stop getting in the way of what I want.

In fact, I'm calling Daschle's office right now. I'm all fired up!

Why does Daschle want to starve the poor displaced workers here in the US? Why does SEN. Daschle hate the poor?

Since the majority of poor people are minorities, he must hate minorities too.

Mr. Daschle, why do you hate minorities?

And Mr. Daschle, why is it you saw fit to give yourself a $5,000 raise but refuse to even allow debate or a vote on an economic package?

I refuse to call it a "stimulus" because it has been pared down way to far. I called his office and my two Senators and said they are disgusting and an embarrasment. What a frickin' schmuck. Time to really take it to the airways W!!!! Gotta go over the press.

Bush has been all over the airwaves telling the nation that it is the Democrats stopping it.

Bush has even asked us to call them and tell them to let it come to a vote.

It's time we do our job.

Is there an update to the list? It doesn't include Dayton (D-PRMN) who beat Grams (R-MN) last election, or Hilary! on the list.
