I'm usually the one defending O'Reilly, but I don't buy his position on this one. The important thing is that the guy is out of there. O'Reilly thinks we should investigate? My understanding is that we did investigate -- twice. Now, maybe that investigation should be made public (but then maybe that info should not be disclosed for security reasons, I don't know.) Oh brother, the faculty union guy says the people making the threats against him are the problem & O'Reilly agrees. Not that I'm condoning threats, but that's secondary. The professor is the main problem. Good riddance!

I agree - good riddance, and O'Reilly's people can "investigate" to find out where this professor lands next -- hopefully, in another country.
