Michael Medved reported that Winona dyes her hair; and is in fact, one of the few natural blondes in La-La Land. He said she was raised by hippie parents in a commune, with no electricity, stuff like that. I personally know nothing about her, and certainly have nothing against her, although she's obviously got problems, but I found her history interesting.
