To All:
Just out of curiosity, when and what woke you up and what action or activity have you engaged in to get the message out to the masses. (typing text to FreeRepublic or other forms of preaching to the choir does not count IMHO).
I really would like to know what you find effecttive. I do not want to waste energy.

What is the most effective way of getting involved and actually making things happen?
- Writing your congress critter
- Writing letters to the editor
- Protesting in the street
- Running for office
- Setting yourself on fire in the town square
- Posting your complaints on FreeRepublic
What do you do, if anything? I have done everything except 4 and 5. I tried #5 but the matches wouldn't loght. 8-)

Like most folks, I want my efforts to have the biggest bang for the buck. I am putting together a
Constitutional Questionaire for Elected Officials.
I need your help in formulating questions to ask politicians that will expose their knowledge or lack of it pertaining to the constitution.
When it is done I will create a file that anyone can download to use to ask politicians at their rallies.

I think that many people care, but feel helpless in being able to change anything. I wrote a piece a while back called It's All My Fault. It was a writing to understand myself and why I went to sleep. Through talking to many people I have found that they feel the same way. I was just like most and resorted to merely complaining about the sad state of the nation. I have become actively involved this year just to know first hand the political process. It has been mind numbing to say the least. What I have found in the Republican party are a bunch of flag wavers that follow the party line. They only hope that they make it through without getting too hurt.
We need to elect angry people; people who will over turn tables and scream enough is enough. We need to elect people with integrity and courage.
