We'll nominate Richard Riordan the CA GOP's next gubernatorial candidate only over our collective dead conservative bodies and when hell freezes over.

We need to get at it ... now. And as soon as Christmas is over, we need to majorly push our friends and neighbors to see the light.

Riordan's people are going around saying he's the only one who can beat Davis and so us conservatives have to just swallow it and vote for him.

Unfortunately, some of my good conservative friends are grumbling about how they think they have to vote for Riordan because they've bought into the B.S. that Riordan is the "lessor of too evils".

The fact is WE DON'T. Bill Simon is a viable candidate, a solid conservative, and a smart, articulate candidate. We don't have to settle for Riordan when we can have our cake and eat it to!

Riordan CAN NOT win the general. He is more liberal than Davis, and most people don't go to vote AGAINST someone, they want to vote FOR someone.

We can vote FOR Simon and feel good about it. And he has the brains and the values and the ideas to beat Davis.

I know, I'm preaching to the choir. but we can't be complacent, we need to talk to people and get them to the polls in March AND in November.

Has G.W. Bush and Karl Rove already "endorsed" Riordan? Didn't Riordan vote for clintongore three times?
