The real shocker? Newton parents by and large want this. I used to live in Needham, the town next door, and I can tell you that Brian Camenker, the parent who almost single-handedly resisted the implementation of these programs in Newton ten years ago is now and has always been treated as a pariah.

He and his coalition of parents is in the minority in Newton.

I went to one of the first public hearings regarding the establishment of in-school "gay clubs" and the hatred directed toward Brian was palpable. You couldn't imagine it unless you were there.

How any parent can send his child to these alleged schools is beyond me. The time to fight these radicals in Newton is over. It's time to save your own.

It's true all right. And there are many other similar recorded incidents in Massachusetts.

And BTW, we can all thank Republican Bill "Pink Floyd" Weld for mandating this "curriculum."
