The Caligula Of The Ozarks doesn't get it. Terrorism has abounded most internally within ultragenerous West European "welfare states" with no "underclass." The Red Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof Faction weren't motivated by "poverty." Nor is the IRA. (Outside of the EU, a virtually-identical pattern emerged in North America - where the FLQ fought for Quebec separatism back around 1971 - despite the absence of any "underclass." The same could be said of the "Mustang Maoist" Weathermen here.)

Even in (slightly-poorer) EU nations like Spain, groups like the Basque separatist ETA abound - and not motivated by "poverty."
