Do you or do you not believethat the candidate's excuse for eliminating NASA is lame? I'd like to know how you'd feel supporting his stament on the ballpoit pen in a public debate. For posterities sake, be honest. For cryin' out loud, it's just an example. I can't believe you're really that thick.
To list every example of waste in any Federal agency would take a long time. Like the 61,000+ items missing from the inventory of the INS (including 539 firearms (39 of which are fully automatic), thousands of computers, etc, etc). Or the confiscated property which the IRS took to satisfy unpaid taxes, that is now missing. It goes on and on.

I would if aeronautics was my speacialty. I'm a computer geek and I'm already working in an R&D capacity.
Also, I would like to point out that others are already taking up the challenge to put a person in orbit, bring 'em down, and shoot 'em back up again within two weeks. There's a $10 million purse riding on it as well as probable contracts for telco companies and space tourism.
Wanna bet they pull it off well before NASA's SSTO program gets off the ground?

I feel bad about it though. Too much like disciplining a puppy. The main difference being that a puppy will eventually learn something.

No comparisons to El Rushbo please. I don't make nearly that much money for being a cheerleader. ;-)

And what will libertarians do when democracy is used to elect democrats in congress? Will their civil disobedience work then????
Someone need to tell Libertarians that the government has personal rights on government property too, just as we do as individuals.
Don't abuse your rights to campaign today at the expense of the rights of others tomorrow.
Sorry, but democracy works that way, you help the Dems win, you lose your freedom. PERIOD!!!

Here's what I don't understand however. For years we've been hoping for a court case we could bring before the Supremes where exactly this issue was to be decided once and for all. With the Emerson ruling, the various research and amicus papers supporting it, and no other charges to consider... this should be a slam dunk.
Why the ruckus by people like Dane and Algore? Kinda re-enforces the idea that they are shills for the Status quo. Not exactly freedom advocates by any stretch of the imagination. Who cares what party the initiator of this action belongs to? Isn't this a win-win for all people searching to restore our liberties? We need to support this guy. Not pick at each other over differences tangenial to the issue.

We will not even notice a difference. Because there is no difference between republicrats and Democans. THat is a lie and an evil accusation that will land this nation to hell. The GOP caves in and repents, democrats never repent and practice a cult in congress. I'd rather have a feeble government lead by caving in GOPs than by rabid dems and their little libertarian Nazi helpers.
As a matter of fact, the only people that behaved after 911 were the GOP. THe libertarians and the liberals were in the same camp, gutting any sense out of government.

We are losing our freedoms NOW! Republican House, Republican Executive, and the Dems only have a marginal seating in the Senate. A Republican majority couldn't convict Clinton for his crimes, nor stop the Brady Bill, and list marches on.
The definition of insantity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Same-same with our two-party system.
The argument that a vote for the Libertarians is a vote taken from the Pubbies is just idiotic. We steal from the Dems just as much so it equals out.
Now, would you like to address the issue of restoring the full force of the Second Amendment... or would you like to shout, scream, and jump around some more?
To: Dead Corpse
Freedom sheedom. It's because we let liberals have the freedom to practice their cult freely that we are about to see the US turned into a sewage infrastructure.
"It's democratic freedom stupid!"
To: lavaroise
THe libertarians and the liberals were in the same camp, gutting any sense out of government. No, we weren't. What the LP wanted was for the FedGov to follow the Constitution and get the Congress to declare a legal war. Failing that, they wanted Letters of Marque and Reprisal to go headhunt Osama.
The Dims just wanted to crawl into a hole, forget all the bad things, and dream of the 70's.

Freedom sheedom. It's because we let liberals have the freedom to practice their cult freely that we are about to see the US turned into a sewage infrastructure. So you don't like freedom. Equal protection under the law and all that. At least you admitted up front that you approve of a dictitorial government as long as they are only sending people to the gas chambers that you don't like.
I'm sorry, but you ARE the weakest link.
To: Dead Corpse
No, you are the weakest link because you won't give up your freedom to do your duty of fighting the enemy. THere is a reverse side to freedom and it is called duty. Liberatarians know very little about it, so much so they are about to spin the constitution around to destroy this country and help terrorists run around.

It's not the government, it's the democracy. Hitler had a small government.
