Good post! I believe the population of Denmark is less than that of Sweden, more like Norway.

I stand humbly corrected. According to the CIA factbook 2001, the population of Denmark is about 5.4 million. Sorry for my bad guess.

Chances are the Tribe of Dan was a source of all the Scandinavians, not just just DANmark, as well as others in the area. Some Danites left Egypt in perhaps ~~1400 BC~~ along with some from the Tribes of Judah and Asher.

Danites were also present as part of the "Lost Tribes of Israel" when they disappeared from northern Iraq ~620 BC, appearing again at the same time and place, 5 Million strong, as the Celts. They left their name trail as the DANube river, the DNeiper, and many others seen on todays map, along with DANmark itself.
