Some here are so shallow that they think that the fact GWB drank made the Christians remove support. These people do not understand that Christians all have their own sin stories, and how it is the grace of God saves, not our righteousness...so GWB's drinking history shocks not one of us...and because we believe in God's mercy we could believe he is a new creation.... Mom, you hit it exactly. (I'm starting to like you.) The notion that Christians are narrow-minded rubes with pinched moral codes to match their pinched intellects, just goes to show how desperately misunderstood He and His followers are. Of course, not all of the "misunderstanding" is accidental, either.
