Rampant political idiocy, the appointment of Tom Ridge as Director of Homeland Security is a large net plus for the pro-life position in this country, and anyone with even a quarter of a brain knows it. As Governor of PA he could, and did, affect pro-life legislation in that state. As Director of Homeland Security, he has ABSOLUTELY NO INFLUENCE on the pro-life agenda.
