Their adoring public appears to disagree with you. As in multi-platinum releases year after year. The appreciation of talent is "subjective" or "in the eye of the beholder" depending on each person... apparently a LOT of people see something in these "untalented" performers, that you miss.

It is a matter of taste... yours and theirs. When you go multi-platinum... let everyone know, then folks will give more credence to your opinion. Until then... money talks.

No, in this case, it's not a "matter of taste". Some people are simply better singers than others, regardless of album sales.

I haven't gone "multi-platinum", but I'm in the music business. I have worked with and for world-famous R&B vocalists that could kick Britney Spears' boney rump from Seattle to Miami.

I might even know more about music than you do. Hard for you to imagine, I'm sure.
