Yes. Bloomberg is definitely a qualifying RINO, as are all the Republicans who sold him the office. This might be a good time to summarize his contributions for the 1990-2000 election cycle, as compiled by Deroy Murdock and published in the NYPost last March 14:

To Democrats: $337,000 (91.5% of total)

To Republicans: $28,500 (8.5% of total)

These are not the usual donations that businessmen make to try to ensure access to lawmakers, either. The DNC got $80,000; $59,000 went to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and $100,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. His individual contributions read like a "Ten Most Wanted" list.

And see Michael Meyers' column of today about Bloomberg's pick for police commissioner.

He has also said he's against profiling.

It's a tradeoff, you see. Our safety for his political correctness (since he always stays nice and safe with his security detail).
