At first, I thought he'd have to be disqualified, due to his no longer being a RIN(O). But, the more I think about it, you're right. Jeffords was a RINO for part of the year, and thus merits consideration. And, although your summary doesn't even begin to quantify the damage done to the party -- giving total control of the Senate agenda and committees to the Dems -- it easily makes the case for his overwhelming deservedness of the award.
Thank you. I would have continued with your correct description of the collossal damage he has done to the party, as well as the country. His switch clearly does not reflect the mood of the country. I just thought that qualifying him for the RINO award would lead one to understand that he deserves this award.
