I've often wondered just how many people your friend FRmails for support everytime she outsmarts herself with one of her snide and inane posts. If you'd rather not see my responses in threads you're joining, then refrain from pinging me in the future, particularly since you seem to be a member of Vic's defense brigade.

Trashy remarks deserve a response. Being guilty of making trashy remarks myself, I can say that at least I defend myself or apologize when called on it instead of calling in a squad of pals in an attempt to justify my misplaced words. The people defending her here are doing her no favor. Everyone who is anyone has learned at some point to face the music for his own mistakes. Attempting to spare someone that lesson is doing a disservice to that person.

You're welcome. I hope the laugh came from what you saw in the mirror I held up to you. In future, you may want to consider allowing little miss Vic to defend her own words or to face her mistake. To do otherwise is to contribute to her failure to mature.

Thank you for showing me how right you were {sarcasm off}. If you would like my wings clipped, by all means enter a complaint. This thread is simply another in a long line of threads in which you've made one of your indefensible pronouncements and then sent out a FRmail for your pals to bail you out.

I first encountered that tactic of yours in March of this year and it isn't any cuter in December. You need to grow up just a little, young lady. Your arrogant naivete isn't a trait which will serve you well. Discard it unless you want to seek an even lower level than you've reached at this point.

As ususal, you've called in some cyberpals to attack in your defense, and now you would like to pretend to yourself that they have been victims of unwarranted attacks. You've received no response on this thread which could be considered unwarranted, child. If you can't stand up, stay home. A forum is an arena. Don't toddle out into the ring unless you can handle yourself.

I've given you some good advice. Take or leave it as you wish, but for goodness sake stop attempting to feign offended innocence here. That's a nauseating habit in an adult, and not a very endearing trait for a child.

This is rather pointless. You can justify open tagging a thread however you need to, but that was trashy behavior. Let your friend defend herself. You're simply making her look bad by wading in when she attracts resistance to her statements.

I swear, you know, that these people don't even care what the particular rules are. They just like making and enforcing rules "because." For the power. For the control. For their other powerful, controlling friends. So they can all feel important and be in charge.

I think there are relatively few who are completely disinterested in what rules are made. Rather, there are too many who believe liberty is achieved when the rules are the ones they want to live under. They don't mind picking everyone's pocket for a project they approve of. They don't mind prohibition on consumption of products they have no desire to consume. They don't mind compelling all to act as they like to act. Those are the folks who endanger liberty because they don't understand it. The real destruction of freedom occurs when their desire for a project, a prohibition, or a compulsion is so strong, they are willing to compromise with others whose project, prohibition, or compulsion they don't particularly care about in order to enact their own. Then we have two restrictions on liberty, then four, and so on.

she will not be around to teach her grandchildren to hate America.

"It is both possible and moral, to love one’s country and hate its government."

Many thanks. I've noticed your posts convincingly argue to advance liberty. So many remain confused and allow their authoritarian instincts to cloud their thoughts.

Absolutely agree with Mr. Williams and President Roosevelt, but Mrs. Pulaski doesn't mention America but once, in a negative fashion.

She describes herself as a political junkie, who loves freedom more than she ever loved her husband, or her children, and she speaks lovingly and concerned of her grandchildren. America is pretty far down the line of things she loves, so much so that she doesn't once mention her love of country once in her diatribe. She loved politics, and after a lifetime of speaking her mind freely, being critical of the system, after a lifetime of experiencing first-hand a political system that allows any citizen to be involved, she is critical of the very system that allowed her the freedom to speak freely, and to be a participant in it.

If she loved America, she would have said so, she said everything else.

"A year or two after I'm gone, all you people who are left are all going to have to carry around cards with all your numbers and fingerprints and retinal scans and "personal data" coded on them. The law says so. You won't be able to cash a check or get a passport without supplying your "biometric data" to the government or the bank. I thought it was some big conspiracy story when I first heard it. But it's true and it's happening. And where are all the people screaming to stop it?"

Deborah Marie Pulaski, mother and freedom fighter, died November 19, 1997, age 54.

Maybe not Mrs. Pulaski, maybe your vision of America was a little skewed, and your faith in the American people quite lacking.

You are a sick man. I pity you.

This thread is simply another in a long line of threads in which you've made one of your indefensible pronouncements and then sent out a FRmail for your pals to bail you out.

As ususal, you've called in some cyberpals to attack in your defense, and now you would like to pretend to yourself that they have been victims of unwarranted attacks.

In that case produce the evidence!! You CAN'T! because I never emailed anyone to defend me. I can defend myself from perverts like you, who from day one have been pestering me with offensive, moronic, scatological bovine comments. The fact that I don't bother to respond to the likes of you is because YOU are not worthy. My post, #48, a good analytical post, was in response to Sirgawain's flag. And he agreed with me. So I accomplished something you cannot do. You are unable to change people's minds. You can only anger them.

So I would suggest that you just leave me alone, stop harassing me. I'm not interested in YOU or your diatribes. You offer nothing worth learning or even worth reading. My advice to you is "BE a man"!

I've often wondered just how many people your friend FRmails for support everytime she outsmarts herself with one of her snide and inane posts.

Most likely zero.

If you'd rather not see my responses in threads you're joining, then refrain from pinging me in the future.

Consider it done.

Trashy remarks deserve a response. Being guilty of making trashy remarks myself, I can say that at least I defend myself or apologize when called on it instead of calling in a squad of pals in an attempt to justify my misplaced words.

Trashy as defined by who? Her reply was well-reasoned. It seems that many people on here are unable to respond to an argument without throwing in personal insults. I don't know why people got their panties in a wad over her post, and I don't care. Her reply was calm and thought out, and that's what she deserved as replies to her. That's the reason I pinged people back to this thread. Silly me and my idealism, I thought people could have a rational discussion about ideas without hurling insults.

The people defending her here are doing her no favor. Everyone who is anyone has learned at some point to face the music for his own mistakes. Attempting to spare someone that lesson is doing a disservice to that person.

I'm glad you care so much for her. It makes me feel all warm inside.
