I write for a folk music and folklore site that uses links to the sites of the material we review. Every so often, we get a complaint that it links to a porn site. Luckily we found out about this, before we let the URL for our old name expire.

NetworkSolutions lets you register for up to 10 years for $180. I went ahead and did it and I don't have to worry about my domain name expiring until 2011.
