Yes, and you have to understand that we have a higher percentage of Blacks, which, I might add, have high levels of divorce. The social welfare state has become the "daddy" to many of them.
Furthermore, just because an area appears to be more Christian does not mean that they are following God. I mean, there are non-Christians in the south.
Thus, I feel that you need to understand what you're seriously saying. No, I'm not high on myself, but merely presenting the evidence that I have witnessed, along with observable, visible facts.
I had not intention of attacking you personally, I simply react pretty allergic to the notion that certain arguments are only accessible to "true believers". IMHO these arguments are usually plain wrong.
More to the point, there are good arguments in favor of sexual abstinence and good arguments against it. Most of them have been mentioned on this thread, or on similar threads here on FR. In the end it's a personal choice everyone has to make. Claiming that the pro-sex arguments are all bogus and that others are unable to see it because they don't share your strong faith just isn't very convincing.
