The Chinese fighting for the Taliban were muslim volunteers, not Chinese troops

A big question is, of course, if the ChiComs really has full control over all the troops. If some of the troops and/or their commanders are muslims.

Hey, if you want to believe Debka, go ahead. But I've already caught them in THREE lies in this particular story - that journalists were not allowed near Tora Bora (Geraldo is already there), that there is a winter storm raging in parts of Afghanistan (there isn't), and that Tenet went to a secret meeting in Kabul on December 2nd (he didn't, he was flying with the body of Johnny Micheal Spann from Germany to Andrews AFB). Three lies in one story, easily refuted with a few searches on the Internet. Do you still consider Debka to be credible?

Debka claimed that China had shipped 3,000 troops overland to Afghanistan - but the Northern Alliance controlled the overland route. And Rummy mentioned a few mercinaries, not thousands of Chinese troops. More Debka-ka.
