Go back and check out "Hocus Pocus" from the same album. Focus' lead guitarist........whose Dutch name escapes me this second, and I'm too damned lazy to walk across the room and read it off the album cover :)..........was smokin'!!!!!! Man was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of his time. IMHO, that's the first true "shred" guitar piece put onto vinyl.

How about some Yes? "Fragile" and "Close to the Edge" are undeniably classics. Some of the earlier Queen stuff still holds up beautifully..........and those boys could rock ("Tie Your Mother Down", etc.). [NOTE: I'm avoiding repeating the wonderful picks you've already made.]

How about a dose of Kansas? "Masque" is their hidden jewel, if you've never heard it. FABULOUS album. "Carry on My Wayward Son", of course, was their biggest hit (great song). "Black Sabbath IV", arguably their best work. Killer stuff.

Anything with Gary Moore on it.........but his best work was to come later, IMHO.

The Stones: "Exile on Main Street". They haven't come even close since.

Love and have major parts of the whole list. Beginnings of punk/new wave started in the late '70's, and some of that is worthy.

B-52's - B-52's (debut album with Rock Lobster, Planet Claire, Dance This Mess Around)

The Clash - The Clash, London Calling (Both are just killer albums. Love the cover of "I Fought the Law" on The Clash)

Someone has already mentioned the Talking Heads. The story of the origin of their name is pretty cool/funny. It doesn't refer to newsreaders.

Elvis Costello had some great singles, but I'd hesitate to call any albums great. How can you not like a guy who can write a line like
"But the radio is in the hands of such a lot of fools
trying to anesthetize the way that you can feel!"
and make it work!

The Ramones - Rocket to Russia (Rockaway Beach, Cretin Hop, We're a Happy Family, Sheena Is A Punk Rocker, We're A Happy Family, Teenage Lobotomy)

Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (Just for the outrageousness, decadence, and humor value. Still regret I didn't go see them in '77 or '78 when they were here.)
