Without Saudi oil/fuel/runways, I don't think we have the ability to launch the number of sorties that we did during Desert Storm.

And I don't think Russia will help us, either..

Maybe Kuwait....I dunno

We don't have to use Saudi bases. We have Turkey to the North, the south end of Iraq is near water so we could use Naval air power.

Thats the beauty of flattops, moveable airfields almost anywhere in the world!

Lets see, six carrier air wings, Bombers from Diago Garcia, Turkey. I also doubt that Jordan is going to be to happy to have the Iraq army marching over their land. Don't forget that Israel has a fine Airforce and runways a plenty.

I don't think this will be a problem.

If they send their army west, they wont have much to come back to, that is if there are any to come back.

I also believe that the King of Jordan might cut down the Iraq army a bit just for fun. He is a qualified Cobra pilot.
