Israel launches new strike

Israeli helicopter gunships have fired missiles near Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah.

A BBC correspondent in the town says that a large hole was blown in the wall of the compound, and two people are reported injured.

It is not known whether Mr Arafat was there at the time.

The attack is the latest Israeli retaliation since last weekend's suicide bombs in Haifa and Jerusalem which left at least 25 Israelis dead. Israel blames Mr Arafat for not preventing such attacks.

I agree with you completely except for the Bush impeachment part. Publically President Bush might call Islam peace but I think privately he believes like most of us that Islam is not a peaceful religion. We need to keep building a strong coalition and to publically call Islam a religion of hate would be devastating to the coalition.

I think your analysis is right on the mark. George W. as a conservative Christian is going to hold the position that moslems need to come to know Christ. However, as President, he believes there is a need to hold a coalition together. However, it may come to the point where we must act alone and go where the "coalition" will not follow.

All Israel is doing is demolishing PLO/PA/Hamas buildings. All the Palestinian psycho killers have scurried into their rat holes.

Many young Jews were killed. Many Jewish boys were killed who would soon be IDF and defenders of Israel.

Agree, however some have the tendency to quickly dismiss the devastating attacks against the people of Israel. Let the news media show the wounded innocent women and children in Palestine but also refer back to the prior attacks by the terrorist who struck innocent women and children in Israel.
