I once lived in Montgomery County and moved to Frederick County 10 years ago because I could not stand the local government and did not want the county piggyback tax going to them any longer, SO I MOVED, but unfortunately I own a business in Mont. Co. so I'm forced to put up with them a little.

Here in Frederick County we have a great congressman in Roscoe Bartlett and I don't mind seeing my tax dollars going to this county because they do a good job up here, if someone was to suggest having Santa banned from lighting a Christmas Tree, they would be subjest to a military tribunal :-)

Well, you moved to Frederick County at the right time. Everybody is moving there now. I'll bet you've seen a nice appreciation in the value of your house.

Roscoe Bartlett is a good man. I wish we had more like him. A choice between Morella and Shriver is pathetic. What is this with the Kennedys taking over Maryland now? Taxachusetts isn't enough?

Did you get the invite to the Maryland Republican Party "Winter Gala?" Rep. Bartlett is going to be there.
