I'm getting ready to leave for work, which is one mile away. It's very cold and you can bet I'll be in my 4,000 pound scooter today.
Also.....where will the masses ride these things? On the sidewalk or in the street. They don't mix well with people or cars. But I'll buy one when they get near a few hundred $.

Don't you think a brisk walk to work in the cold would be better than a ride on IT? You would arrive warmer because of your walk, IT would get you there but you would feel like you had been standing at a cold bus stop. Besides walking is good for you.
